HMC Kids

At HMC Kids, we offer many programs for kids to get involved in and grow in their

faith. HMC Kids offers Sunday programming, weekday classes, and mid- week

programming.


At HMC Kids we value FUN in all that we do and we pray your children

will see Jesus in all that we do!

HMC Kids On Sunday

  • Nursery Ministry

    Our nursery care will open for all services of worship and Sunday school each Sunday. The nursery is provided for children under the age of 4 years old.

  • Sunday School

    Sunday school is offered every Sunday for children ages 2 years old - 6th grade. Sunday school begins at 10:00 a.m. Preschool classes meet on the 1st floor of the Children’s Ministry Building and Elementary classes meet on the 2nd floor. 5th and 6th graders have a place of their very own in the Youth Room.

  • Worship Bulletins

    Before you head in to worship be sure to grab a worship bulletin and crayons. These bulletins contain scriptures and puzzles. No need to return after service is over.

  • Prime Time

    Prime Time is our Children’s Church Program for our 4-year-olds - 1st Graders. Children begin the service seated with the adult who brought them to church and then exit the service with Mrs. Kris or the Prime Time volunteer at the announced time.

HMC Kids Weekly Classes

  • A.B.C Monday

    A.B.C. Monday is our afterschool bible club for 2nd , 3rd, & 4th Graders that meets every Monday during the school year. Transportation is provided from Hernando schools to HMC. It is an intentional Bible Study for kids. This year we will focus on Bible skills, important passages of scripture and faith statements.

  • Kids 4 Kindness

    Kids 4 Kindness is a once weekly Bible Study for boys and girls in Kindergarten and 1st Grade. At Kids 4 Kindness kids will learn scripture and character based Bible studies. Kids 4 Kindness every Tuesday

    during the school year from 3:30 - 4:30.

HMC Kids Mid-Week Program

  • Kids J.A.M.

    Kids ages 3 & 4 years old meet every Wednesday night of the school year to learn what it means to be a friend of Jesus! Kids J.A.M. (Jesus and Me) meets from 5:30 – 7:00 for playtime, class time and choir time!

  • Connections Kids

    Kids in Kindergarten - 4th Grade meet every Wednesday night of the school year to study the Bible

    together, make music and have a ton of fun! Connections Kids meets from 5:30 – 7:00.

  • Route 56

    Route 56 is our shared ministry programming between children and youth ministries for those in 5th and 6th grade. This ministry focuses on “bridging the gap” for those kids who are no longer “children” and moving toward participation in our youth ministries.


    They meet on Wednesday nights 5:30 - 7:00 pm during then school year for small group time for them focused on growing in faith and challenges they are facing, free time, and end the night with worshipping together with our youth. Supper is provided. Other special events occur throughout the year.
